Assignment of the gas analyzer:

The stationary gas analyzer “Geoplan-2P” is developed to measure the concentrations of harmful substances and pollutants in the atmosphere, in the air of the working areas. This gas analyzer can also measure the concentration of exhaust gases from fuel and energy factories. It also determines the explosible concentrations of combustible gas and flammable liquids.

A stationary gas analyzer is produced as the usual “Geolan-2D” and explosion-proof “Geoplan-2PV” models

Stationary explosion-proof gas analyzers “Geolan-2PV” completely meet Customs Union Technical Regulations on the safety of equipment for working in hazardous environments. (CU TR 012/2011). 

The ex-proof ability of the stationary gas analyzers is provided by the following types of explosion proofing: “Intrinsically-safe circuit” of the “ib” level according to the Russian National Standard and International Electrotechnical Commissions 60079-11-2010; “Flameproof enclosure’ according to the Russian National Standard and International Electrotechnical Commissions 60079-1-2008. The gas analyzer by its design fully satisfies the requirements of the Russian National Standard and International Electrotechnical Commissions 60079-0-2011. 

Stationary gas analyzers “Geolan-2PV” with built-in gas-sensing block converters with an explosion proofing of the type “d”  is approved by 1 Ex d ib IIC T6 Gb X of explosion proofing marking.

Stationary gas analyzers “Geolan-2PV” with built-in gas-sensing block converters with an explosion proofing of the type “i” is approved by 1 Ex d ib IIC T6 Gb X of explosion proofing marking.

The power of the stationary gas analyzers is provided by external devices. Among them, there is a waste control unit, a processing block of information transmission, and a supply unit with a spark protection unit. 

A processing block of information transmission is approved by [Ex ib] IIC explosion proofing marking.

Stationary gas analyzers “Geolan-2PV” satisfy the requirements of the All-Union Standard 27540–87 (point 3), the All-Union Standard 12.2.007.0-75. It is a multifunctional and renewable device.
